Report of the harvest 2012
This year's harvest seems to be very promising, especially for the red wines!

Since the early spring an early growing cycle was noticed. The shooting of the buds began 12 days in advance while the flowering 10 days. The high temperatures of July (the warmest month in the last 120 years) along with an extended drought had as a result an early harvest about 7 days and a decrease of production about 30%. The grapes were of an excellent sanitary state and very aromatic.
The harvest at Domaine Gerovassiliou began August 10th with the variety Sauvignon blanc. Merlot, Chardonnay, Malagousia and Syrah – with an intense colour-were next and last, at the end of the month, Assyrtiko and the Greek red varieties Limnio, Mavroudi, Mavrotragano.
