We celebrate both Open Cellar Doors and International Museum Day at Ktima Gerovassiliou! On the occasion of this year’s ICOM (International Council of Museums) theme on “Museums as Cultural Hubs: The future of tradition”, we open our doors at the outdoor artwork collection of the estate. During a fantastic spring walk in the vines, we talk about the future of tradition and get inspired by modern sculpture.

“Tell me your name”, by Foivos Delivorias

Kids! Foivos Delivorias and his children’s songs come to meet children of all ages…

“Here we are! Dropped from the sky and unexpected, but -sure hope- welcome. With our tangled hair, Little Elephant, our sister Myrto Delivoria, Jela, Lela, Korna, our city and our funny names. And we would like to learn your names one by one” says Foivos himself.

So, Foivos, Nefeli Fasouli, Giorgos Katsanos with his little instruments, but mostly their children’s songs and their funny stories, start a journey of getting to know friends of all ages, by presenting a book and cd called “Tell me your name”, recently published by Mikri Arktos editions.

In this book, Foivos remembers and narrates his childhood story, as he lived it, which is also the story about his relationship with the city, his friends, his childhood years, his group of friends and mischiefs. And in the companion cd, he sings 15 songs about all these moments in his own special way.

Among all, we have ensured the participation of Little Elephant, Foivos’ crazy gang and all the love and spirit that have led to these first children’s songs of this unique storyteller – songwriter.

See you all there…

To tell you but mostly hear your names…
