The Gerovassiliou Wine Museum celebrates the International Museum Day with the theatrical team Blitz
The GerovassiliouWineMuseum for the second year celebrates the International Museum Day. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, 18th May 2012 for tours at our museum and wine tastings from 10 o’clock in the morning till night.
The evening will end with the theatrical team Blitz (www.theblitz.gr), candidate for the significant European award New Theatrical Realities (2012), with the performance GALAXY.

“Galaxy” by blitz
GALAXY is a 4 hour parade of humans, things, ideas, items, movements, expressions and words that are lost, and happened to win positive comments from both the audience and the official critics. On stage, 8 actors drink with the audience and remember people that died, ideas that are forgotten, items that have fallen into disuse or are outdated, words and expressions that are no longer in use. A narration that crosses through the history of human kind and human spirit and is transported in the blink of an eye from emotion to ridiculousness, from cheap to important, from vulgar to poetic.
The performance lasts 4 hours. The time of arrival and leaving is kept open. There is no intermission and while the narration continues, the audience can leave and come back at any time depending on their needs.
