International Museum Day 2013

- "Supporting", an unconventional performance

Saturday, May 18, on the International Museum Day, at 19.30, the director Yannis Paraskevopoulos presents an unconventional performance specially created for the Gerovassiliou Wine Museum.

Thursday, May 16, at 19.30, the general rehearsal of the performance will be open to public.

We all know, very well, what brings us to a difficult mental situation. Have we truly wondered though what makes us feel well? What can support us at a crisis, whether it is emotional, psychological, financial, domestic or self-esteem crisis. What makes us mentally resistant?

An artist team searches these relevant matters. Under the general title “Supporting”, the performance, created especially for Domaine Gerovassiliou, wishes to make the public participate in this research. At the final form of the performance, presented to the audience May 18, all these issues won’t be solved but instead more question marks will be raised, along with our curiosity and our sensitivity.
