Friday, 18 September 2015 at 19.00, Ktima Gerovassiliou says farewell to summer and welcomes fall and the new viti-vinicultural year with an event for the distant but so beloved stars!

“Does the actor that plays Pedagogue in “Electra” of Euripides really exist? How can I be certain? “But I see him, I hear him”! What if I did not exist? How would I know? Does the Universe exist? What if humans did not exist in the Universe, would the Universe exist? Who would be there to acknowledge it?”

All these questions and many more will be asked by Yannis Seiradakis, professor of astronomy, during our philosophical and musical evening with the stars.

Afterwards Fiori-Anastasia Metallinou will sing and Sakis Kontonikolas will play the piano and will take us on a “ride to the moon” with popular songs inspired by the magic of the starry sky.

The evening will end with observation of the stars!
Friends of Astronomy Club (www.ofa.gr) will bring their telescopes to the estate’s garden and us closer to the Moon, Jupiter and many more exciting objects of the night sky.

Just before the lecture the Gerovassiliou Wine Museum will be open from 18.00 to 19.00
