Autumn full moon at Ktima Gerovassiliou

Ktima Gerovassiliou says goodbye to summer and welcomes the new viticultural year with a special screening of the award-winning documentary “The Grocer” by Dimitris Koutsiampasakos, Thursday, September 19, 2013.

The “road movie” documentary, a Thessaloniki Documentary Film Festival 2013 audience award win, is dedicated to Pindos and its people. Since 1980 Nikos Anastasiou, travelling retailer, and his wife Sofia make the same trip. Once a week, throughout the year, they leave Trikala and visit the remotest villages of Southwest Pindos, a 75km drive. The last few years their two children, Kostas and Thimios, help them.
