Yiannis Seiradakis, a gifted speaker, came to the estate and raised many philosophical and existential questions while explaining scientific theories, which as he said quoting the words of Austrian philosopher Karl Popper “scientific theories have to live dangerously…otherwise, they stop being scientific”. He talked about the relativity of concepts around us and of our existence as well as the mystery behind the black hole.

The event ended not only with the magnificent voice of Anastasia-Fiori Metallinou and the extraordinary pianist Sakis Kontonikolas, but also with the telescopes of the Friends of Astronomy Club that took us all the way to the Moon, Jupiter and the stars.

Thank you all for coming and we look forward to welcoming you to our next events!
