"Open Doors" 2011 in Domaine Gerovassiliou

During the Open Doors 2011 the following events will take place:

13.00: Screening of the film "Pelican's watch", by Lea Binzer

A small community on the island of Santorini has a unique duty: that of preserving the tradition of vine growing. We follow two vine growers and one wine maker, during a year of work in the vineyards and the winery.

Lea's Binzer new movie was shown last March in the 13th Doc Festival of Thessaloniki- Images of the 21st century, under the section Habitat. It won a special mention from the Jury of ET3 in the closing ceremony and was selected to be shown in the competition section of the Los Angeles Greek Film Festival.

12.00: "Gargalistis", by Dimitris Baslam

This year the author and musician Dimitris Baslam (www.baslam.gr), along with excellent musicians, the actor Antonis Kafetzolpoulos and the famous "Gargalistis" come to the Domaine to present us the story of Gargalistis! A music performance for children of all ages!
