Unique international distinctions for Domaine Gerovassiliou

This will make three stops in 2011 -in Chicago on Thursday evening, May 12th, in Las Vegas on Saturday evening, May 14th and in Boston on Thursday evening, May 19th. Only 100 top wineries from all over the world will take Wine Experience Grand Tasting to cities across the U.S. These are great venues to showcase the Gerovassiliou wines and generally Greek wines to readers across America.

Each Grand Tour evening will run from 7 – 10 pm.  The "Grand Tour" schedule is as follows:

The wines of the Estate Gerovassiliou were also among the Greek wines tasted during the annual tasting of Mark Squires from erobertparker.com.

The Evangelo 2006 was rated with the highest amount of 91 points and Viognier 2009 was followed by 90. This was another approval of the efforts that the estate is doing all these years in order to produce unique wines with modern profile that reflect the terroir of the Epanomi region.

Wines&Spirits magazine released the results of its 22nd Annual Restaurant Poll reporting on the most popular wines in America’s top restaurants for the fourth quarter of 2010. Greece hit 1,3% for imported wines providing enough fodder to create a list of most popular Greek Wines for the first time in the history of the Poll.
