The European Business Awards (www.businessawardseurope.com) has announced that Ktima Gerovassiliou is to represent Greece as a National Champion in the prestigious 2013/14 Awards programme that is dedicated to raising the visibility and progress of companies who excel in delivering innovation twinned with successful commercial results whilst acting responsibly and positively affecting the social environment they operate in. The estate will compete for Ruban d’Honneur status in the next round of the competition. Final category Award winners will be unveiled in April 2014.

To advance in the competition this year, all National Champions have to submit a video entry for viewing and assessment by a judging panel. In addition, the public will also be able to vote online for their favourite National Champion from each country, these companies become ‘National Public Champions’ and one will go on to be ‘European Public Champion’. Voting begins in November 2013.

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards: “Over the past seven years we’ve received an incredibly high standard of entries from organisations that are passionate about their business. However, very few get the chance to fly the flag for their country and compete across Europe to be recognised as one of Europe’s finest. It really is an exceptional accolade to be picked as a National Champion and together with our sponsors and supporters we’re looking forward to seeing Greece in the next round.”

Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM adds, “Ktima Gerovassiliou and the other National Champions have yet again raised the bar for dynamic, inspiring and quality businesses across Europe. We wish them every success for the next stage of the competition, which this year includes an exciting two-phase video voting round”.
