Empress Theophano Prize

Theophano Foundation, of which Ktima Gerovassiliou is a founding member, awarded leading Pianist and Conductor Daniel Barenboim, who has been distinguished for his musical work and his initiatives on issues concerning peace and understanding between peoples. The Award Ceremony took place on Tuesday 11 October 2022 in Thessaloniki, at the monument of the Rotunda, a symbol of multiculturalism and the intersection of peoples. The President of the Hellenic Republic Mrs KaterinaSakellaropoulou and the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis honoured the event with their presence.
