Paschalis Kitromilides at Gerovassiliou Wine Museum

On Monday, March 4, 2019, at 7pm, we look forward to welcoming professor emeritus of Political Science at University of Athens Paschalis M. Kitromilides for a lecture on:

Politics and Religion in the Orthodox World

During the presentation two conventional historiographical assumptions will be discussed and in what sense they can be confirmed or revised will be examined:

• the negative relationship between Orthodoxy and Enlightenment
• the relationship between the Orthodox church and the national movements of the Balkan peoples

 
The lecture will be held at the cafe of the Wine Museum.
Just before the lecture the Wine Museum will be open from 6-7pm.
