Eleni Panou-Filotheou at the Gerovassiliou Wine Museum

On Monday, 15 January 2018, at 19.00, we look forward to welcoming retired Professor of Thessaloniki Technological Educational Institute Eleni Panou-Filotheou for a lecture on:

                                                              “Health benefits of Herbs”
 

The use of plants (herbs) for maintenance and improvement of human’s health is known since the ancient times. Then, people with wisdom and experience chose and used them accordingly. Today, with the contribution of Science, that has realized extensive research in all fields concerning these plants, the possibility of selective use is given, since they form a special category due to their chemical composition (secondary metabolites). And always remember “knowledge is power”.
 

Just before the lecture the Wine Museum will be open from 18.00-19.00.
