On Thursday, 18 May 2017, the Gerovassiliou Wine Museum celebrates once again the International Museum Day and looks forward to welcoming Pӧlkar for a concert at the estate’s bottling area at 22.00 (doors open at 21.30)

EVERYTHING BEGINS.
Pӧlkar come to Ktima Gerovassiliou to celebrate the official release of their album “Everything begins” by Novel Vox. To set and introduce at the estate a fiesta with their new songs and the remixes that made them famous during their winter SOLD OUT performances. To celebrate the beginning of summer along with the beginning of their summer performances.

At their lives Pӧlkar focus on the creation of an interactive and open musical-theatre performance, using spontaneously many different musical genres such as folk/rock/indie/country/pop/gospel, having in the back of their minds a traditional Mexican fiesta. Their goal is cheap or free tickets, not for a particular reason, but because otherwise nobody would show up.

Pӧlkar are:
Giorgos Papageorgiou (vocals, ukulele)
Giannis Kyratsos (guitars, vocals)
Lazaros Pliampas (percussion)
Giorgos Avramidis (trumpet)
Christos Gailas (bass guitar)
Michalis Karanikos (trombone)

Also, at 20.00, Argyris Gerovassiliou (agronomist-enologist) will prepare wine-tastings of MUSEUM COLLECTION. Two unique wines dedicated to the Wine Museum.
Advanced reservations are not required, order of priority will be kept.

Especially for that day, the visiting hours (for tours and wine tastings) will be extended from 10.00 to 21.00.

Throughout the day tours, wine-tastings and concert will be of free entrance.
